I aspire to create designs for good and make the world a little more interesting, one design at a time. You will often find personality and humour throughout my work, with characters like tropical skeletons or gym dogs making their way into packaging and branding projects.
I have three design qualifications from RMIT University, including a Bachelor of Communication Design with Distinction, an Associate Degree in Graphic Design, and a Diploma of Graphic Design. In 2021 and 2022 I received the Vice Chancellor's Award for Academic Excellence, which is granted to the top 2% of graduating students.
Hi! I’m Beth, I’m an illustrator and graphic designer located in Melbourne, Australia.
THE SUGAR BANDIT
The Sugar Bandit is a drop-dead delicious small cupcake brand that was created as a passion project based on my background as a pastry chef. It is designed to be unique, stylised, and utterly irresistible.
Illustration
I work in various styles of illustration and love discovering new techniques and processes. I have compiled a few of my illustrations to give you a feel of what I am capable of. If you have a style in mind, I can adapt my skills to fit.
GOCO Active Gym branding
GoCo Active is a fitness centre and exercise program specialising in looking after your mental health with fun activities that turn exercise into a game rather than a chore. I wanted to make this branding, fun, silly, and bold.
Merchandise design
Who doesn’t love a good hoodie, tote bag, or t-shirt? The best way to advertise your business is through walking billboards (humans in comfy sweatshirts with cute designs on them!).
Bone Yard Rum
Creating something gothic-inspired doesn’t mean it has to be lifeless. This project made me realise that no matter the brief - the brand can still have a personality that appeals to the masses.
